Meet our founder...
Founder, Lead Designer
Ciao! I have been surrounded by and worked in the professional creative sector all my life. My experience began in Milan, Italy as I helped my family produce and distribute independent fashion magazines to all of Europe. Now I apply my passion for aesthetics and design to everything I do here at Sabra Design. As lead designer, I bring over 10 years of technical experience to the table, and will be there to ensure your expectations are exceeded at every step of the process.
Favorite Dinosaur: Pterodactyl
My days are spent striving to ensure that everything adds up. Assets = Liabilities + Owner’s Equity! Born in the DC metro and raised a chef, my barbecue smoker is one of my closest friends. When the housing market crashed I went back to school to facilitate a career change; I now hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Financial Economics from Shepherd University, and picked up several years of experience in small business management along the way. Funny hats tickle me, especially those that feature helicopter rotors, and I'm also awfully fond of corduroy blazers with elbow patches. When not practicing my classical bass or smoking spareribs I can generally be found either sitting too close to the subwoofer listening to Steely Dan, or combing through Gulliver's Travels separating the gerunds from the present participles.
Favorite Book: Thesaurus
Even though I was born with a terminal case of congenital awesomeness, I don’t consider myself disadvantaged. On the contrary, the best parts of life have come since switching my career path in the sciences to web development and harnessing my creativity. I bring over 2 years of experience in development ranging from NGO’s, startups and government contractors, as well as a B.Sc. Chemistry degree from George Mason University. The best parts of life are always learning and improving and that is something I’m proud to add to the Sabra experience.
Favorite Ninja Turtle: Donatello
Account Manager, Illustrator
When I’m not travelling and sketching the world through cartoon-tinted glasses, you can find me with the Sabra Team, managing accounts and conspiring creatively. I come from a journey in the realms of international relations, through the territories of communication, the fields of translations, through office forests and free-lance passages. The pencil of this quirky ninja turns into a multifaceted and versatile craft, bringing to the Sabra team graphic wonders, illustrations, storyboards, character designs, comic strips, and more… a blank page can turn into anything! Dream on…
Favorite Pencils: Zen
Jack of All Trades, Mascot
They named me after the Prickly Pear because even though I may be tough on the surface, I'm soft and sweet on the inside!
Favorite Part of Ship: SAIL
